Service Description

Vermeer paints ordinary life and folk, and we wonder, how does one transform the mundane into something so captivating? Many of us go through our daily routine without much thought, but as educators, we wonder what fresh perspectives children have. “What If Vermeer Ate Kaya” aims to challenge children to imagine how our ordinary life would look in Vermeer’s paintings. In this 5-day camp, not only will we introduce participants to some of Vermeer's more renowned works, but we'd also be putting our heads together to create stories, reimagine the possibilities of life in the 17th century and what it'd look like to invite Vermeer and his characters into our home.
